WORM Rotterdam will host an African music dance night, which hopes to spread African culture through music, dance and entertainment. Have you ever wanted to learn how to work the aerial hoop? Italian circus artist Fabrizio Spiteri will host Workshop Dynamic Aerial Hoop, a class where students will learn how to do some cool tricks, like rolls, drops, and regrips. Class starts at 13:00. In commemoration of Liberation Day, independent theatre Cinema of the Dam’d will screen Soviet director Larisa Shepitko’s WWII drama The Ascent (1976). The film tells the story of Soviet partisans who journey into the backwoods of Nazi-occupied Belarus. In the midst of hard times, the characters face numerous moral tests. Film begins at 19:00.
