This photographic project wants to be an alternative point of view to
the mainstream treatment of the migration issues nowadays.
We constantly hear about “them”, but what if we focus on us and where
are we from?
Migration has always been part of human history, and the idea itself of
migrants exists just because of borders artificially created by men.
Those portraits aim to give a closer look at people and ourselves to show
how diverse we are, and yet we all come from the same world. Our
ancestors, our fathers and grand-fathers weren’t migrants as well? And
where are we from?
Take a look around you, you’ll find a lot of these faces.
Dedicated to all those who suffered from discrimination.
