A new court hearing about the shot down of MH17 will start at 10:00 on March 9 , next year 2020 in the Hague ICJ. The corresponding announcement has been made by Fred Westerbeke, Dutch prosecutor and head of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT). He added that they will give the case to court before the end of this year. The trial will take place in front of special security chamber in the criminal courthouse at Schiphol.
Westerbeke told the suspects to show up at the hearing or speak with the JIT before the case starts. He also warned that the trial will continue even if the suspects do not show up.
As reported, the JIT on June 19, 2019, there have been issued four international arrest warrants for four suspects of the MH17 disaster in 2014.
Westerbeke announced at a press conference on Wednesday that the investigators had issued international arrest warrants for other suspects and their names will be added to the wanted persons lists. The suspects he identified were Igor Girkin, Sergei Dubinsky, Oleg Pulatov, and Leonid Kharchenko.
